Mother Baby Nutrition Supplement
Healthy eating is important for you and your baby. If eligible, you will reveive a monthly financial benefit provided to eligible low income pregnant women and for families with children under the age of one. It will assist you with the extra costs of eating healthy during pregnancy and throughout your child’s first year.
The Mother Baby Nutrition Supplement is $60.00 a month. In addition, you will receive a $90.00 birth benefit which is issued in the month your child is born.
You are eligible to receive this supplement if:
- you are pregnant; or
- you have a child under the age of one; and
- you are a permanent resident of Newfoundland and Labrador; and
- have a family net income less than $25,257; and
- receive Income Support benefits.
