Unplanned pregnancies are common among Canadian women of all ages; in fact, about half of pregnancies are unplanned.*

Deciding whether to continue an unintended pregnancy can be stressful.

A woman who is facing an unplanned pregnancy must choose what is best for her own unique circumstances.

It is important to have access to counseling and services to inform yourself about the options available.

You can choose from three options (listed in alphabetical order) and decide what is most comfortable for you:

  • Abortion
  • Adoption
  • Parenting
